Cambridge Students Get Rid of it Right

In front of me is
a box of materials. There’s recycle,
compost, and trash. Can you sort into those
three categories for me? OK. Yes. I guess. Yeah, sometimes it says if
it can be recycled or not. These on. I think this is recycling. Just guessing this will
be compostable paper too. Trash. Or compost. Oh, it’s still like, wet. What the heck. It’s a fully fledged sandwich. Trash. No, it’s not trash,
it’s compost. Can worms eat peanut butter? So this is trash. This is compost. And this is recycling. Why do we recycle? Recycling– it’s a
very important thing because if we don’t
recycle, we will start to make big piles of trash. Trash goes sometimes in the
ocean and so those other things where we don’t want it. Why do we compost? When we compost, the
things can get like– they break down and they
go back to the earth. So it can make
the soil healthier and grow more plants
for the environment. If you don’t, them the
earth will explode.
